Hi, my name is Lauren Leffell and I am a freshman at Emory University. I am currently studying psychology, sociology and hebrew. However, I have not yet chosen a major! I'm involved in the ESI club, the tennis club team, the Arts club and ESA on campus.
I am a Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology major and hoping to attend medical school next year. I love the Jewish home I have at Chabad at Emory and enjoy attending weekly Shabbat dinners as well as special holiday and learning events. I am also Vice President of Programming for JHealth Tritt and Oppenheimer Leadership Institute, where I have begun to incorporate my Judaism into my career choices and perspective on medical decisions.

My name is Ronni Shalem and I am a senior at Emory University. I am a psychology major and global health minor and hoping to go on to Physicians Assistant graduate school. In high school I interned at the Jewish Museum in New York, one of my favorite places to visit when I am home. My parents are Israeli, so I am first generation American. My annual visits to Israel and Jewish education have instilled in me a deep love for Israel. I am so happy to be part of such a wonderful Jewish community at Chabad, where I can foster and develop my Jewish identity through Lunch-and-Learns, the Sinai Scholars program, as well as many other learning events
